Parking: once onsite at Harwell, please follow directional OPEN-AIR CINEMA signage and steward directions to the screening area, just a short walk from DiSH.
Food and Drink: Please do not bring your own food or drink to the event. Bag searches may be in operation. Enjoy incredible burgers, pizzas, burritos, nachos, gyros, fries, halloumi fries, desserts and more, all freshly prepared using the very best regional ingredients. Beers, wine, cider, spirits, soft drinks, cocktails and hot drinks are also available. The easiest way to order is using the website, both in advance and on the night by clicking HERE, or just order over the counter.
Tickets: Please bring a printout of your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s) with you, or show it on your phone. We’ll have a list of all bookers with us too, so if you can’t find your e-tickets, confirmation e-mail or receipt, just bring photo ID along on the night.
Premium Seats: if you have booked a Premium Deckchair Seat, these will be located at the front of the screening area. These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (you are guaranteed a seat, so don’t worry, and we’ll make sure that you can sit with friends if you’ve booked these seats separately from each other). Please take your seat no later than 15 minutes before the start of the film.
General Entry Seats: please remember to bring your own low-backed camping chair, deckchair or picnic blanket to the screening. Picnic blankets will be located near the front, with camping chairs and deckchairs behind, so that everyone gets a good view. Guests arriving with high-backed chairs may be asked to sit at the sides or rear. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the film begins.
Other Useful Info: please bring practical, warm clothes and footwear, plus blankets to keep warm. Please bring a torch for the return trip to your vehicle after the screening. Please respect the venue and take your litter home or give to our staff at the end of the night. No dogs allowed (except assistance dogs). Smoking and vaping is not permitted in the screening area, please move away to designated smoking areas. Please don’t bring any glass or sharp items to the event. Strictly no fires, BBQs or gazebos. No flares, sharp objects or other items that could be considered dangerous.
Weather: Screenings proceed in all weathers, including rain, screenings are only stopped or postponed if the weather is deemed to be making the event unsafe. This includes very heavy, prolonged rain, high winds and thunderstorms. No umbrellas are allowed in the screening area once the film begins. Please keep an eye on your inbox, spam folder and our social media channels in the run-up to an event if the weather forecast is looking particularly bad, all customers would be contacted by e-mail if we needed to postpone or cancel due to very poor or hazardous weather.
Terms and Conditions: Management reserve the right to refuse entry or to ask patrons to leave if causing a nuisance. Customers are requested to respect their fellow audience members by not making unnecessary noise or disturbing those around them during the screening.
