Event dates and times: Top Gun will be screening on Friday 9 August, with Top Gun: Maverick on Saturday 10 August. Gates open at 7.30pm and the film starts at 9pm on both nights, with TG ending at 10.50pm on Friday, and TGM ending at 11.10pm on Saturday.
Location: the screenings will take place right by Negus 747 close to AV8 restaurant and the control tower. Please follow event directional signage on arrival. For directions to Cotswold Airport please click HERE
Parking: free parking for all visitors. Please follow steward instructions on arrival. If you require disabled parking please let our staff know on arrival.
Tickets: please bring a printout of your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s) with you, or show it on your phone. We’ll have a list of all bookers with us too, so if you can’t find your e-tickets, confirmation e-mail or receipt, just bring photo ID along on the night.
Pay on the Gate: BYO seat tickets will also be available on the gate (cash or card payments accepted).
Negus 747 Tours: exclusive for open-air cinema customers, the airport will be offering tours of the magnificent Negus, British Airways’ iconic Boeing 747 that now lives permanently at Cotswold Airport, sited right next to our cinema screen. Board this legendary king of the skies for a pre-film tour. A separate ticket is required for the Negus tour. BUY YOURS HERE
Food and Drink: a bar will be in operation at the shows, selling alcoholic and soft drinks, plus ice cream and popcorn. Hot food will also be on sale, including burgers, loaded fries and more. Hot drinks will also be on sale. Please don’t bring your own food and drink to the event. Bag searches may be in operation.
Seating – Premium Deckchair Seat tickets: if you have booked a premium deckchair, these will be located in the front section of the venue. The seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (you are guaranteed a seat, so don’t worry, and we’ll assist in making sure you can sit with friends if you’ve booked chairs separately from each other). Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before the film start time.
Seating – BYO Seat tickets: please remember to bring your own low-backed camping chair, deckchair or similar to the screening. Anyone arriving with high-backed camping chairs will be asked to sit to the sides or rear.
What to Wear: please bring warm clothes, the more layers the better, and bring a blanket or similar to keep you toasty. Closed-toe footwear is also sensible. Even red-hot days can turn into nippy nights!
Other Useful Info: please bring a torch for the return trip to your vehicle after the screening or use the light on your phone. No dogs are permitted, except assistance dogs.
Weather: screenings proceed in all weathers, including rain, screenings are only stopped or postponed if the weather is deemed to be making the event unsafe. This includes heavy, prolonged rain, high winds and thunderstorms. No umbrellas are allowed in the screening area once the film begins.
Terms and Conditions: management reserve the right to refuse entry or to ask patrons to leave if causing a nuisance. No refunds will be given in this instance. Customers are requested to respect their fellow audience members by not making unnecessary noise or disturbing those around them during the screening. Smoking and vaping is not permitted in the screening area, please move away to the designated smoking area should you wish to do this.
