Join us for something that’s become a festive tradition for us; feelgood Christmas cinema in the most stunning of venues, Callow Great Hall, a former nunnery at the lovely Stanbrook Abbey Hotel near Worcester. Get ready for the ultimate British feel-good Christmas film for the whole family, the wonderful Nativity!
Martin Freeman stars as primary school teacher Mr Maddens, given the challenge of his life; directing the school’s biggest and best-ever nativity, and making it better than a rival show from the posh local school. If this isn’t hard enough, he also needs to win back the love of his former sweetheart Jennifer (Ashley Jensen) and persuade her to bring Hollywood to town to see the show. Laughter, love, and festive cheer abound in this classic tale that makes Mr Maddens’ lovely pupils the stars of the show. And we haven’t even mentioned the brilliant Mr Poppy!
Please note: this is an INDOOR screening, so there’s no need to wear lots of layers and blankets for the film as you would with our outdoor shows!
Tickets: please bring a printout of your booking confirmation, receipt or e-ticket(s) with you, or show it on your phone, and check in at the ticket desk on arrival. We’ll have a list of all bookers with us too, so if you can’t find this info, just bring photo ID along with you. If you can’t find your e-tickets, please check your spam folder before contacting us.
Food and Drink: please do not bring your own food and drink to the screening. The venue will be operating an event bar, including mulled wine, alcoholic and soft drinks, hot chocolate and seasonal treats to eat.
Seating: all seating is unreserved and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating will be a mixture of chairs on the floor and pews to each side of the chapel. If you are disabled and have any special requirements please let us know in advance via info@alfrescofilm.co.uk
