Crank up the Flux Capacitor, pour out the plutonium and floor the DeLorean until you hit 88mph at the stunning Cirencester Park in the Cotswolds; it’s time to go back to the future! Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd light up the screen in Robert Zemeckis’ movie classic, complete with a lightning-struck clock tower, an Enchantment Under the Sea Ball, that dreamboat Calvin Klein and a lorry full of manure. Forever a classic, this comedy adventure is always a thrill on our open-air big screen. Perfect summer cinema!

Seating Types: Premium Deckchair Seats – deckchairs in premium positions close to the screen. Bring Your Own Seat Adult – age 16 and over, please bring your own low-backed camping chairs, picnic rugs, deckchairs or similar. Bring Your Own Seat Concession – under 16s, students, military and emergency services staff (relevant ID is required on the night)

Food and Drink: you are welcome to bring your own picnics to this event. However, due to licencing regulations, you are not permitted to bring alcohol. The park’s resident super-cool coffee hub ‘Beano‘ will be overflowing with popcorn, Pimms and Prosecco, as well as beers, cinema snacks, delicious cakes and hot drinks. In addition, the lovely folks from Katie’s will be serving up freshly prepared gourmet burgers, hot dogs, katsu curry and more. Please do not bring glass containers or bottles to the event.

Location: the event takes place along the glorious Broad Avenue within Cirencester Park.

Parking: There is no parking available at Cecily Hill Gates, but you can enter the event here on foot from Cirencester town centre, a short walk from the gates. There are several public car parks in the town. For details of these car parks please click here

Disabled parking: a limited number of disabled parking spaces are available close to the event entrance (access via Cecily Hill, and follow steward instructions on arrival at the park gates).

Other Information: under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The film is rated PG. Please respect the venue and take your litter home after the screening. Please bring torches for the return trip to your vehicle after dark. Please respect our neighbours on Cecily Hill by leaving the event quietly.

Weather policy: screenings go ahead in all but worst weathers. Only if there’s heavy, prolonged rain or high winds forecast will the screening be postponed or cancelled. No refunds will be given unless the screening is cancelled. Umbrellas are permitted in the screening area until the film is about to begin, but must then be put away so that those behind you can see the screen.
