The biggest-selling movie of the eighties, Steven Spielberg’s E.T. is simply one of the greatest family films ever made. Telling the story of a vulnerable alien left behind in the woods, and his relationship with the little boy who meets him, it features iconic scenes, laughter, tears, thrills and of course John Williams’ stirring soundtrack. Enjoy this classic on our outdoor big screen at the beautiful Alderley Park in Alderley Edge, south of Manchester, with the stars twinkling overhead; an experience not to be missed.

Seating Types: Premium Deckchair Seats – deckchairs in premium positions close to the screen. Bring Your Own Seat Adult – age 16 and over, please bring your own low-backed camping chairs, picnic rugs, deckchairs or similar. Bring Your Own Seat Concession – under 16s, students, military and emergency services staff (relevant ID is required on the night)

Food and Drink: guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink (excluding alcohol). Food and drink from local producers will also be on sale at the show.

Other Information: Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. The film is rated U.

Weather policy: screenings go ahead in all but worst weathers. Only if there’s heavy, prolonged rain or high winds forecast will the screening be postponed or cancelled. No refunds will be given unless the screening is cancelled.
